Feel like you’re constantly trying to keep up with the pack? It’s easy when you know how, and that’s where I come in.

Here's What I Do

I thrive on coaching people to develop their skill base using the tech they have to make their life better. If you’re looking for Microsoft, Google or Apple tools I’ve got you covered.

Here's What I Do

I love seeing people’s confidence increase as their competence develops. That’s what makes my job so rewarding.

What’s my style

I get excited about creating learning opportunities for students that are based on innovative pedagogy. I love building community through collaboration and the seamless integration of technology. The buzz of helping teachers create environments where students are self motivated and engaged, and outcomes are maximised is what motivates me.
I’ve had a colourful career journey over the course of three decades in the education sector. I taught drama for 20 years, writing, producing and directing musicals and plays, which was a lot of fun. I’ve held executive positions with an ICT and curriculum focus, and led teams using digital tools that transform teaching and learning. One of the most rewarding experiences in my career however, was coordinating an international service program for schools in the Kalahari desert. For ten years I took groups of students to Africa and tutored high school students in areas ravaged by HIV and poverty. We worked in some of the poorest communities in South Africa, providing food programs, supported health workers, and we even built an orphanage for students who’d lost parents to HIV. And, if you like to know your tech guru has the hard skills; I’m an accredited Microsoft Peer Coaching Master Facilitator, Microsoft Master Educator, Google Certified Innovator, Level 1 & 2 Google Certified Educator, Google Certified Trainer, an Apple Learning Specialist, an Apple Distinguished Educator, and have also completed postgrad studies in changing school culture.
I like to find the best in people. I’m a keen cyclist and in a past life I was obsessed with rock climbing and surfing. I’ve just started getting back into the water and I’m reminded of how much fun it is catching a good wave.
I live in the beautiful Adelaide Hills with my amazing wife Jen. Together we have three adult kids, who are all still at home and are great fun to have around.
